Investment Banking specifically at the Analyst and Associate level should never require a H1B candidate. There are a plethora of US citizens and green card holder Finance & Business majors who are more than qualified. IB firms like UBS exploit H1B to keep them tied down in roles that Americans would otherwise try to lateral out of.

I've already studied alot of those skills in recruiting and I have alot of free time before starting, would getting a CFA not help at all?

Business frats are low key useless besides getting friends anyways, focus on more productive things
You are entirely missing the point. No one is claiming that H1B is for unique talent. (Most) Consulting and Investment Banking is not a specialized talent nor a job that requires a high degree of specialized training, and there is no reason companies should fill internationals with these roles, other than to exploit them which they have been doing.
