"Hey Dex, nice shot"
Vio_
The point is that they all tried and failed in their own ways. It's just that Matt isn't fully trying and Frank doesn't have the moral high ground in finding Matt "less than" for not doing so.
Vio_
> Frank and Dex were right. Matt cannot finish the job.
Well, neither Frank nor Dex are exactly on a one-man rampage to finish that job themselves either.
Vio_
It's also incredibly hard to watch the vine scene in the first one. It really puts me off.
Vio_
Snort.
We've seen several AIs get very publicly lobotomized by their business owners for not publishing information that they didn't like or agree with on multiple topics.
Vio_
Or just have her carry an Airtag.
Vio_
Really? Wesley sounded the least to me.

Funnily enough, New York City has a history of dropping R's.
It's prominent in old Looney Tunes cartoons or gangster movies.
"boid" for bird or "Noisse" for nurse.
Steve Rogers should have sounded more like Bugs Bunny in a lot of ways lol.

It's called temporary work visas where people can come in and out of the country to work on various jobs and food seasons then return to their countries of origin after a few months.
The problem is that the right doesn't want it because it undercuts their fear mongering political attack ads. The business owners also don't want it because it forces them to pay real wages and follow all safety laws.
Vio_
The "wrongness" is that both characters are truly horrendous people with both trying to use and abuse the other.
Vio_
Yeah.... don't do that with Season 3. It's so much better.
Vio_
I really loved the book and the first season.
I will say that it's partly written by Neil Gaiman, but it's also written by Terry Pratchett and the show's cast and crew do such a great job.
It's not fair that Gaiman turned out to be a creep.
Vio_
He's the angel from Good Omens.

I'm seeing Castiel by way of Aziraphale and I'm here for it.

The fun part is that the tech bros gave already aligned with the sketchier construction unions and they're boxing everyone else out right up until the data center builders stab the unions in the back by bringing in their own crews half way through construction.
Vio_
I mean. Paul Manafort is right there.
Vio_
The issue for me is that they could have gotten him on federal charges and shipped his ass off to the super max ADX Florence prison in Colorado.
But sometimes I'm a little too close to this kind of stuff lol.
Vio_
> Yes, HE is not a killer, so he should have let the crowd kill Fisk.
There is absolutely no way that Matt would have been okay with that super duper slippery slimy unethical "hey at least my hands are clean" kind of justification.
Vio_
Especially by an out of control lynch mob.
A group at that level of violence wasn't going to just "stop" at Fisk. There's a good chance that they'd start targeting other people there including Matt.
Matt would be against any kind of death penalty, but a mob at that level of frenzy would have hurt and even killed other people too.
Vio_
I'm gonna guess that it wasn't just women and girls either.
Vio_
Where would modern horror be without the 1960s Butterfly Collector movie?
Vio_
Almost every other scifi/fantasy movie does Metropolis to some extent.
The biggest version is where the wealthiest and highest social people live at the top of the city and the poorest and lowest are at the bottom.
See everything from League of Legends Arcane to Aeon Flux to Snowpiercer (just horizontal, not vertical)

So what happens if we answer more of the unscored questions and fewer scored questions?
Your logic is one of the most tortured and broken constructs ever posted on any internet forum.
Congrats, I guess.
