It was an exercise in extreme frustration to try and argue with people at the time that not only was the ABK acquisition bad for the industry, but imo bad for Xbox too. It's just ridiculous levels of consolidation. Zenimax was already massive. There aren't words for how big adding ABK was. These levels of acquisition don't tend to lead to good things

Actually when Reddit reopened old threads, that post got inundated with very new comments. Like, genuinely flooded to the point where it was difficult to see the original comments from 11 years ago. I think eventually moderators might’ve gone back and mass deleted comments - you can see the deleted ones are almost all from 1 to 2 years ago.

Totally correct, but I think they’re pointing out by that same logic ancient Jews and modern Jews are also really two different cultures - which makes them eligible for the GONE list she posted. Both have changed and yet still exist in the modern world.
