What’s the goon n’ grind experience like?
befron
I think you are missing the point. If they find somebody tactically conceded to do something like help their opponent secure a prize they can use this rule to say that isn’t allowed and take punitive action. It doesn’t provide a framework for evaluating if a player is sandbagging or anything, but they need rules like this in place first.
befron
They can deny prizes or take other punitive action if they suspect you are trying to concede or sandbag to farm prizes. I don’t think this change alone will make a tangible difference but it gives them something to build real enforcement on.
befron
I think it just establishes that it’s explicitly not allowed. It’s not enough, but it’s the first step towards real enforcement

Yeah I wasn’t playing when they did it the first time so I don’t really know, but it sounds like it wouldn’t be super impactful? If you get a god pack in sealed you are pretty likely to get at least one top level bomb rare, but your pool of commons and uncommons to support it will be a bit more limited. It sounds like it wouldn’t be any more swingy than somebody pulling two synergistic bombs in a regular prerelease kit, and would probably happen less often.

Akali, impulsive

I’m trying to figure out ways this effect would be powerful, which I think means this is a good One With Nothing suggestion.
I can see it being it good as a one of in a combo or control deck that is able to score some token points throughout the game. It would be an ancestral recall to dig on the turn you need to combo, or to find an answer to fully stabilize. But I suspect there’s probably just a better or more useful card to have in those scenarios. I’m pretty new at Riftbound so I don’t know how accurate that assessment is.

I just started getting into riftbound after playing mtg. Are there any good resources for learning the game from the mtg lens? Googling didn’t turn up anything that felt useful

Not super sure about that, if they restrict to only one at a time it might be more profitable. How many people have multiple accounts and have subscriptions running for them at once? I bet most people who have multiple accounts just move bonds or membership between them, that’s what I have done. They can even restrict how often you can shift membership around between characters or put other limits in place behind different membership models. There’s probably a model that lets most players have easy access to multiple characters at once without sacrificing much up front. I also bet if they do this it won’t be compatible with grandfathered rates so they might be able to move some people onto their preferred payment structure.

Do you think Vivi would see play if these were all unbanned?

The sailing election was stolen, shamanism actually won
befron
Yeah so the line is what devs explicitly allow. I get that there is some level of ambiguity, but tick manipulation isn’t it
befron
Of that entire movie your main criticism is that we don’t see more of the least likeable character?
befron
This feels like something they were intending to do and ran out of resources to finish
befron
How is this not on the game changers list?

No bulge on the borderless version? In my pride month?

Just saw it, I think the entity possessing her reverts to a different body naturally, like it takes constant effort to keep the Nikki form. In emotional moments it loses control and starts deforming. Thats why it moves into the dark to hide the not Nikki face or holds the flower vase in front of its face and all the other face obscuring moments. The body deformation also explains the weird movements.

If it really is the seller intentionally doing this it would have to be incorrect behavior on tcgplayer side that the seller is exploiting.
My guess would be something like tcgplayer provides hooks that the seller can use to do checks and manage inventory throughout the entire sale lifecycle. The seller could be triggering a sort of non repeatable read where tcgplayer displays a value to the customer during checkout but on putting in the order and charging the payment method it reads the more expensive value.
I haven’t worked with tcgplayer before so I don’t know what their APIs are like, and this is way more likely to be a bug or user error than an intentional exploit, but it wouldn’t take much for something like this to be possible.

I'm looking to upgrade my macbook pro, I was hoping to get some insights, particularly around trade-in value. I mostly use it for programming personal projects.
Right now I have a 2019 Macbook Pro (so intel core). The main driver here is that connecting to external monitors is really buggy, and supposedly the apple silicon chips handle this better. I was originally planning on waiting until the M6 release and just using this laptop without an external display until then, but I recently switched over to an ergonomic keyboard for my work computer and I don't want to have to use a regular keyboard for personal projects while learning the ergonomic keyboard.
I was considering getting an M5 Pro (~$2700 at current price online) and then trading it in when M6 releases, but it looks like the trade in value caps out at $800.
Does anybody who closely follows these sorts of releases have any experience with this? Is it possible to get trade ins for decent prices around the release of a new model? Does the M6 look like a meaningful enough jump that I should wait or eat the massive loss in value after just 1 year of use? What is the life expectancy of newer macs?

Usually crank it to busty bots

Looking at your comments, I think you’re missing the forest for the trees here. Ultimately the ocean spirit merge feels like it logically flows with the direction of the story and the lion turtle doesn’t as much. You can argue specifics all day, but if you want to understand why people are more accepting of that plot point you have your answer.

Yes the game is absolutely worth playing as a new player in 2026.
F2P is fun but limited in scope. It’s worth doing f2p to try, but if you end up enjoying it and stay f2p you will hit walls fairly quickly. If you are adamant about never paying a subscription fee you might be better off finding a different f2p game. If you are willing to pay if you decide you really like the game then definitely start f2p and buy a subscription when you decide you want to experience more content.
Jagex sells bonds, which give you 2 weeks of membership and are tradeable, so you can technically buy membership with in game gold. Just be warned, for most accounts it takes many hours of grinding gold to buy a single bond, and it doesn’t advance your account in any way, so it’s not really worth the time investment. If you want to experience most things the game has to offer you’re going to have to pay, there’s not really a way around that.

There’s enough dopamine stored here to rival at least 10 points of molly
The real answer is that this is a complicated game that’s a little over a year old and it will take the designers some time to refine balance and color identity. They also ship sets long before they are actually released so timing balance changes with set releases is difficult.
