She seems to be bringing her band along with her to the extent that she can, which is a challenge since they are having to contend with puberty and middle school.

Her father is usually like twenty feet away and they seem to love each other quite a bit. He's so closely associated with her that he's become a minor celebrity in his own right.

Have fun.

I think the notion of an antagonistic Quaker is funnier.

This doesn't have anything to do with billionaires, it has to do with distance.
This stuff is reported on in the news. The reason it's not reported on more heavily is that nobody cares about stuff that happens far away, unless it is much bigger than this.
Brazil elected a new President yesterday, and that's probably the last we will hear about South America for who knows long. We don't care about Africa and Asia either.
We care about the Middle East and Europe, and that's about it outside the United States.

I'm not going to defend them. Anyone in the first picture with a speck of sense would have to have seen the second picture and know what it represented and would have known what they were recreating. That is a photo op and when you pose for a photo op it's not like the photo is going to go into some drawer.
What is that guy on the right doing? It is not my understanding that Catholic priests believe they can project any sort of power over distances from their fingertips.

The rules are weird and the update process can be tortuous. In the case of Mormons Outsider was thinking out loud with that section and I don't see why someone can't just say that Joseph Smith was a con man, because he was, or make plagiarism accusations.
If you think we're covering for the Catholic church please bring it to the attention of one of the mods you see being active here.

If there is a victim our subscribers are encouraged to speak out for them and against the victimizers. That's our policy.
A problem with how the Catholic sexual abuse scandals have been dealt with by society is that the church has received natural deference from institutions -- media, political, law enforcement, justice, business -- and has been able to use that to deny justice to victims or in some cases to reverse victim and offender.
Those who take part in that are complicit and we refuse to be.

Mods volunteer their time and receive nothing other than the satisfaction of service. We give all mods full privileges on day one and our confidence that they will at least try not to fuck up. We all make mistakes and if we find out about something that seems wrong we will discuss it, deal with it, and try to do better, but nobody follows our mods around with a magnifying glass either.
brucemo
You can criticize these men, the USCCB, the Catholic church in general, and who knows what else, for what it does.
I know I am in an odd position as a non-Christian talking about this but I think that Christian mods and the subreddit in general would agree that our rules are not a shield that protects Christian leaders from criticism, especially and most importantly in those cases we would all agree are nastier than this.
brucemo
This is not a first amendment violation.
brucemo
The first amendment is great and I wish Trump would stop fucking with it
brucemo
Yeah, there are some links scattered throughout the comment section here to him talking about this and if I recall correctly his whole thing is "shit happens on superbikes, can't help it" and telling those who criticize him that they don't know what they're talking about because they ride smaller bikes.
He almost killed two people plus himself, he put himself in the hospital, and he hasn't figured out that he's an idiot.
brucemo
This is removed because your link is broken.

No AI please.
brucemo
He's accusing everyone who is criticizing him of riding smaller bikes.
brucemo
From elsewhere in this comment section, arm cast and multiple delusions.
brucemo
You watched someone sacrifice himself to save two other people, according to him.
brucemo
Excellent.
