I don't know what this animal would do to you but they try to disembowel each other if it comes to that. Mountain goats are not goats.

brucemo

I don't know, but I just assume that anything with daggers sticking out of its head that has offspring in tow is more dangerous than a fucking bear.

This hiker's attitude is excellent.

brucemo

Is he married? Is he divorced?

Are you Christian? Do you believe that divorce is "okay"?

I mean Nene is not an alto by any stretch

What would you call her please?

brucemo

She's 16, she won AGT, she's integrated perfectly with three major bands with little or no rehearsal and in some cases probably with little or no sleep, and people will pay good money to watch her do covers.

I think she can just do whatever she wants, and what she wants is her business. For all I care she can just go around being a travelling miracle.

We do not allow AI images here, and that is going to extend to tracings and similar of AI images.

This timeline has turned bizarre. We spend a lot of time detecting AI and arguing about AI and I would rather the next decade not be about this, but I would rather that any decade not be about Trump and here we are.

Kill your data center.

The profile image has a synth ID.

brucemo

There was an assertion in the comment section that there was a synth ID in the other one. I was in bed so I asked the other mods to check it and one of them reported that they found a synth ID and removed the post. OP then deleted the post and we can can no longer access it.

This one doesn't have a synth ID.

Everyone who upvoted your comment clicked on the link. This is pretty clearly labeled.

I think the odds are high that we'll continue banning twitter links.

The reason is that Elon Musk is a pathological fuck and to at least some degree his platform reflects this.

This isn't the kind of argument I would have made in high school civics class, but neither I nor anyone else in that class would have predicted the rise of a trillionaire who uses his wealth to promote right-wing authoritarianism globally.

This image shows stuntman Danny Gill driving a stretch limousine during the 6/8-cylinder enduro race at the annual Halloween Howler event at Star Speedway in Epping, New Hampshire.

Google Lens.

Danny Gill has a facebook page and a lot of other stuff comes up if you google "danny gill racing".

brucemo

And it doesn't seem to matter if it does.

brucemo

It's so long that it's difficult to run it off the road and it's so long that if you do run it off the road it doesn't make much difference.

Kids will just adapt to their own weird perceptions.

The flair system here was originally about having a symbol next to your name, for example on old Reddit there is a big red A next to mine. There was explanatory text next to the glyph, for example "Catholic" or "Presbyterian" or "Jew" or in my case "Atheist", but you didn't see it unless you moused over it.

Over time we allowed people to edit that text in order to add clarification about what kind of Catholic or Presbyterian or Jew or atheist they are. Users immediately began putting random stuff in there and the whole system went to hell (with certain mods sometimes leading that charge), and this got even worse when new Reddit happened and all of those symbols stopped appearing and the text started always appearing. OP here, for example, has atheist flair on old Reddit but he's changed the text to "Trinitarian" and that's all you see on new Reddit.

Since I am a dinosaur I never really noticed this and nobody has volunteered to make sense out of it.

If we wanted the flair system to make sense we'd have a long road to travel.

The flair system is often used when investigating users who seem sus, but that is a little creepy of us to do since ideally it should be about sharing something about yourself as opposed to testifying against yourself. I can't see it being a priority for us to adjust the system so we could use it as a source of more accurate and perhaps automated testimony.

We allow people to express their opinions about moderation here unless people bring identity (lgbt, gender) into it. We don't allow account names that impersonate or criticize users including mods. I can see flair being another exception to this but I don't think we've discussed it and as you can see McClanky doesn't care.

Please be kind to such people here and report them to us.

Ployfun is a natural front person.

brucemo

Atheists are muddled about what the term means and why they use it. The term has come to be used by agnostics who are metaphysical naturalists, i.e. the universe seems to be natural and perceivable, and I can't make assertions about what isn't natural and can't be perceived. It's a scientific mindset.

The rest of us would perceive atheists who believe in the supernatural as weirdos.

That kind of satanist doesn't believe that Satan exists and has no interest in Satan. That kind is about opposing Christians who want to invade public spaces and institutions while trying to excuse it by saying that other religions are welcome to do the same thing, secure in the knowledge that none will. That kind of satanist exists to ensure that if you put a giant Ten Commandments statue on the state capitol lawn, you'll also get a big demon with kids sitting on his lap.
