You realise "absolute shithole dives you'd have to be a moron to live in" aren't what people generally talk about when they're talking about property prices in general areas, yes?

eyebrows360

... Riiiiiight, but that's always been the situation and that's not changing.

Your initial query was:

Can you pass on service charges to tenants? I didn't think you could?

Which you then incorrectly answered, citing this thing you completely misread:

Landlords cannot charge tenants a separate service charge for an apartment, as passing on building management or maintenance fees directly to tenants as an additional charge is prohibited.

You skipped over the word "separate" in here, and also the words "additional charge", and then somehow presumed this confirmed your suspicion. It did not. No landlord is charging "extra" for the service charge, it's just factored in as a cost on their side before they settle on what to charge for the rent. That's it. If their service charge goes up, the rent goes up too.

What the passage you cited is referring to is abnormal or unexpected "service charges", for instances like the cladding debacle, where there's massive amounts of unplanned genuinely "extra" costs suddenly appearing. That passage is about those, and prohibits landlords from passing those on to tenants, which is only good and proper.

resting your hand on the top of the wheel like most people do

It's the stupidest possible way to "hold" a steering wheel.

Outside of, y'know, something like lying upside-down in the seat so your head's underneath the wheel and biting the underside of the wheel with your teeth. That'd be stupider, but not by much.

An Australian chav, basically.

eyebrows360

You need your head examining if you think that's in any way connected. Psychopath.

You're getting a *plonk* because you're too far gone to be worth engaging with.

eyebrows360

Stop talking to yourself.

Ah what a shocker, you've got comment history hidden.

Glad we're all in agreement?

Ok?

eyebrows360

Ok?

Stuff like this ceases to be impressive when you can just prompt it into existence.

actual CrUX numbers

Google's BigQuery stuff houses all that, and you can get to it via code of course but my god accessing it is expensive. Fortunately they only update it once a month, on a month-at-a-time basis, so you just need a once-per-month cron to go pull it all in to whatever analytics system you rig up for it.

But yeah. Time was, maybe a decade ago or whenever these measuring tools became widely available, I went through the same thing as OP. Running professional commercial WP sites, got all 100s (and without stupid fucking Gutenberg/block theme; actually just PHP-generated HTML) with the ads disabled, then integrated our ad stack and had a cry.

Then stopped crying and went back to working on things that mattered instead of chasing numbers that barely even factor in to SEO ranking signals in the first place (for any readers unfamiliar, the point of these metrics is just to be not terrible; as long as you aren't terrible then the ranking impact is basically 0, whatever your not-terrible score is).

No this has nothing to do with Brian Molko as far as I can tell.

eyebrows360

and yet it’s not enough

Because they're aware of others who have even more, and have contact with them all the time.

Sure, having a million feels great when everyone around you only has a thousand (wealth, and "how well I'm doing" as a concept, is after all entirely relative), but when you're surrounded by people with a billion your million starts to look like it needs working on.

Ok that's verging on psychopathic.

He will definitely die on a Lime.

To be charitable, it could be people who've only ever been on runs through it with competent others who were somewhat "speedrunning" it, so they never even realised there were mechanics to do because the speedrunners just did them before they had a chance to notice it.

That was me on that one mission where you get three screens with symbols on them you have to go and activate. I was too eager to go through the doors either side of those three screens and never saw the symbols at all, so didn't realise there were other ones to go and activate for about... five runs of it, perhaps. Thought the other two were just running around aimlessly. Did wind up on a run where I was the competent one (perish the thought), and had to figure it out.

Plus, as someone on this sub pointed out the other day, you can use the melta on the final boss guy as soon as the fight starts to give him a big old stunlock and get more licks in. So it's even worth taking one from here with you to get that ready as soon as the boss fight starts.

confidently stated misinformation

Oh boy, you're one of them huh?

No, captain pedant, I was "confidently stating" what we know from science. That doesn't mean we know the whole picture, but what we know so far is that electrons get thrown around and consciousness happens with some of that activity, and when that activity stops we have zero evidence of any such coconsciousness thus zero reason to believe there's any present. We might gain new evidence in the future that contradicts this but to-date, that's what the evidence shows.

Anyway, my point was less "yes it's 100% possible to compute the mind", which you appear to think I was saying, and more "no, there's no good reason to think it's 'impossible'" as a refutation of that specific word "impossible" by the other guy.

eyebrows360

You're so hot right now.

BOOK

The fuck? You aren't generating "a book" from an LLM, and if you think you are, then you don't own the copyright in the utter pile of shit it'd churn out anyway. It's not yours.

eyebrows360

Pack it up folks, hyperconfident reddit know-nothing hypeboi child thinks something magical is right around the corner just like he probably did a decade ago with bitcoin.

"pov: you went to a thing"

Kids, you can just say "I went to a thing". You won't get arrested for it. You don't have to do this stupid "pov:" bullshit.

It doesn't even make any sense. Rhetorically it's trying to say "this is what it would be like if you had gone" but that's clearly not the case because if I'd gone I'd have been stood somewhere else, given you were stood there filming.

eyebrows360

Silly clanker doesn't understand what humans are, nor how laughably-not-intelligent current "AI" is, nor what "AGI" would have to look like. Aww!

Hint: being able to do maths with words does not make you "intelligent".
