Your entire post focuses on what your parents aren't doing for you rather than what you're doing to improve your circumstances.

You say this has been going on since 2022. Four years. At what point do you stop blaming your parents divorce, your father's girlfriend, your broken car, and everyone else's supposed shortcomings?

Your father is allowed to spend his own money on himself and his girlfriend. He's allowed to have a life that doesn't revolve around financially supporting his adult child.

Food insecurity is a legitimate problem, but being in a difficult situation doesn't automatically make everyone who isn't paying your bills a villain. Personal accountability isn't narcissistic abuse, and adulthood doesn't come with an unlimited parental subscription plan.

Then, just a month later, you decided financing an expensive paintball gun was a reasonable financial decision.

Yep! Drew and I stepped down from r/borrow 10/1. We have both wanted to leave for quite a while, and with Reddit continuing to make… choices, the timing felt right. It was a part time job, and we reached the point where neither of us had a single fuck left to give and I hated dealing with the borrowers. Loathed them and their concentrated stupid.

In the future, I’d suggest condensing it quite a bit; use bullet points, short sentences, and get straight to the point. Keep examples very short. The easier for users to skim the better! 👍
