Made a delicious peanut satay wrap for lunch (i.redd.it)
rscarson
rscarson
I scooped out the inside part of half of an onion
rscarson
I mean I did actually cut it with a plastic spoon
rscarson
No I didn't wrap it I just sort of treated it like a bite-sized snack gave it the old crumple glump
rscarson
I like my onions extra thicc
rscarson
texturally the soudough hides it The flavour is entirely overshadowed by onion and soy It barely even contributes more nutrition than the peanuts
It basically exists so the diner can say 'yes this has a meat protein'
rscarson
Why is he being downvoted he's right
rscarson
Also its not old I just bought shitty tortillas
rscarson
Doesn't really fit that sub since it's my recipe
rscarson
Look this started as a recipe years ago on sourdough with grilled chicken a satay sauce and paper thin onion forming a thick bed
I replaced the brown sugar with sweeter shitty PB, replaced the rice vinegar with shitty acidic soya sauce, replaced the chilli crisp with franks redhot powder, realized the chicken was decorative, and replaced knife skills with chopping of bits of onion with a spoon over my garbage can, and realized bread and even rolling the tortilla was optional - I just giver the ole crumple glump and I get like 80% the same experience for 38 seconds of work
rscarson
no its not for sale
rscarson
Thank you it added texture
rscarson
The consequences of which are what
rscarson
I microwaved it damp which unstales it
rscarson
And soy sauce
rscarson
Ew balsamic gross
rscarson
Huh
rscarson
That's a really nice thing to say thank you
rscarson
Correct!
rscarson
It's more like I didn't make it specifically for the subreddit but since I made it anyway I might as well have something funny to read while I eat it
rscarson
Frank's Red hot powder on it!
rscarson
No those are Halloween cookies under it
rscarson
Because the reactions by lunches get here are always pretty funny
Thank you the bed of finely slivered onions was entirely for your benefit because Reddit becomes upset when I make them deliciously thicc and crompchy like I prefer
