Ironically , I use the mcon all the time but never with my phone…

I love this thing . I thought I would use it for my phone with emulation or Apple Arcade and although it does work well for that I think it works MUCH BETTER as a portable controller.

I basically carry this is my laptop bag every day all day . It’s my “controller in a pinch” in case I have 20-30 min between work tasks .

I’ve been playing freaking doom the dark ages with it and I don’t think my experience has suffered at all .

Carrying an Xbox controller or one of my many others would be very cumbersome. My laptop bag is slim and professional and has a little pocket when I have my mcon and charger .

I take out the kickstand , deploy the handles and voila .

Yep agreed. It’s the controller I use on the go, not at home. And it’s great for that specific use case.

Yup. Works awesome for docked steamdeck or laptops as well as the obv phone use.

Same, I truck drive and I rest my steam deck on the dash, sit back and use the mcon

Playing Euro Truck Simulator 2, no doubt.

Yeah I don't hear a lot of people using it just as a controller with the plate as a stand either. It's great! As a standalone controller that's compact and slim it can't be beat.

I just ordered a pair of Xreal One Pros and an MCON. I plan to detach it from my phone and use it with the glasses! Hope it works like I think it will. It has just been sitting there without movement on the DHL tracking number though for days now.

That'll be one heck of a mobile gaming kit

The 8bitdo sn30 (SNES style) controller has a very similar profile.

I love that they setup the software to have so many profiles, I can have BT1 (or android legacy, thanks division resurgance) for phone, ds4 for steam deck and sw for my switch 2 and then its a great portable controller to carry around and use for some kickstand mode on all 3 of these, its surprisingly comfy and light without the magsafe plate

I actually want to buy the slim model as an extra external controller that is super portable.

I used to use a Gamesir X2 Bluetooth and love that I can use on my laptop and phone.

Currently, the Mcon has replaced that but I'm looking to bring the slim as a second player 2 controller for my games.
