Well call the other police.
19 examples found of writing checks to and purchasing gift cards for themselves and family members for $27K.
Awarded “scholarship” funds directly to friends & family of former board members.
Gave $219K to surviving family of officer Mosher, a charity founder, but only $5,000 to the family of Officer Brian Hampton who died just a few days after Mosher.
Yet, all four of these turds have been on PAID administrative leave for the past 17 months and avoid criminal charges.

There's plenty of bullshittery going on in that department but iirc Hampton wasn't KIA. Mosher was. Families of officers killed in the line of duty should receive more money from police charities.

Thanks for the context - I had little to none and should have looked it up.

Looks like those guys went to the Donald J. Trump school of charity management... :)
