I saw a pretty cool art piece from Shadow of Mordor once and, as usual, I used it as template for an AC-related image. This is my small tribute to the latest prequel trilogy, showing off the transition from Classical Greece in Odyssey to the Medieval Holy Land in AC1.
Artistic liberty was taken, so a few things are out of place (like Altair´s Hidden Blade being located in the wrong hand). All credit goes to the amazing artists below that developed the pieces used in the mock-up.

Seriously. Every time I click on a post from this sub it almost immediately devolves into how much they hate the new trilogy (but origins was kinda ok) and how great Unity actually was. I love the new trilogy (Odyssey's insane grind notwithstanding).

I was agreeing with your statement, only in an indirect manner. Shame that so many newcomers just do not care about what AC should be, and the oldtimers have just given up (naturally) due to Ubisoft shamelesly ignoring them. Them, who loved and supported AC for being what it was!!!

I personally find it really sad. The games gave me a lot of joy until they started making an open world magic/batman game out of it.
I really especially liked the vibe of it not being real, but so close to reality that you could think "Hey that could actually have happened in another parallel world".
Now it's literally just a fantasy game.

I still don’t get why they just do a sub series or a new series to origins odyssey and Valhalla. These 3 have no right to be names Assasins Creed. I mean it would be cool to see those games for example like a sub series to AC let’s say AC Ancestors or something.
