Reflectable projectiles?

Does anyone have a full list of projectiles that can be parried and reflected? There's way fewer opportunities to do it than in BotW, and it's one of the few things I think TotK genuinely dropped the ball on. I like parrying, and I want to do it more.

I have seen people parry gleeok head butt so i think you make your list of things can’t parry is faster.

...they headbutt? I've seen the tail swipe but not the headbutt

Apparently most everything in TOTK can be parried. You can even parry horses when they try to kick you, or Bucks and Boar when they try to charge at you. I've even seen video of people parrying their own zonai builds. No idea how the internal programming works to do that, though.

FirefighterIcy9879

Yeah? Show me someone parrying a frox stomp or a flux construct ground pound, or the Gleeok tail, I’ll fkn wait

BackgroundNPC1213

"most everything"

FirefighterIcy9879

Thanks for clarifying. I really needed that 🫡

I'm not asking about melee attacks, I'm asking about projectiles that can be bounced back. I was pretty clear about that.

The only reflectable projectile I know of in either game is the guardian laser.

You can also parry the rocks Octoroks spit at you

FirefighterIcy9879

You can swing your sword and do that. Timing is fickle tho

FirefighterIcy9879

Sadly, ain’t much in parrying fusion that can honestly do significant damage, but I go with Lynel shields cause it gives you two chances to parry multiplicatively. You can pull off an 8 hit combo if you know advanced combat

Edit: as for your list, I don’t believe it exists, but could be wrong.

BackgroundNPC1213

You can parry the rocks enemies throw at you. It doesn't do much damage tho, seems like it just makes them madder

You might be able to parry trees that hinoxes throw at you? But I've never tried

You can parry a lynel's fireballs

Lizalfos will sometimes throw their weapons (spears, boomerangs) at you. You can parry those, or if you have an empty weapons slot, you can grab it out of the air and the lizalfos will throw a tantrum

If you have a shield with a Hammer-type or fire-type attachment, hit the button to parry, bring up the Quick Select menu right after pressing the button and drop a Bomb Flower, then when you exit the menu, the Bomb Flower will explode and you'll parry the blast (also, you can just hold up a shield and drop Bomb Flowers in the Eldin caves to clear rocks, but just blocking uses up shield durability, I'd think you could parry those but I can't get the timing right)

Final battle spoilers:
You can "parry" the Gloom balls Demon King Ganondorf throws at you by hitting them with the Master Sword. The big circle that closes in on you can be countered with a level-2 spin attack, but I don't think you can parry the ones he shoots from the bow

It never ceases to amaze me that people run to Reddit for questions that google can answer right away.

I never trust AI generated answers. And even if this is true, it STILL doesn't answer my actual question.

Little_Transition_13

You’re asking for a list of projectiles that can be parried. If an enemy can throw it or shoot it at you, it can be parried. That’s the answer.

OneAndOnlyTinkerCat [OP]

No, I’m asking for ones that can be reflected. Bounced back at the enemy. Like rocks from Octoroks and Wizzrobe magic. Those are the ones I know, so I’m looking for any others.

Little_Transition_13

Any physical object thrown by an enemy can be reflected back to them using parry. You can also parry arrows though I don’t know if the arrow will reflect back to the enemy. You already know about wizzrobe magic reflecting back. Lynel fireballs can be parried but don’t reflect back.

Thank you

FirefighterIcy9879

No, if you got a wooden shield, those arrows go into links inventory once he puts the shield back up.

I never trust AI generated answers.

Google's in particular have been pretty bad (which is also one reason (of many) I don't trust or use them myself--I just ignored them and scrolled to the actual results), but I basically stopped using Google in particular when I searched a Zelda quote just to see if I'd written it correctly and the AI overview flirted with me. ._.

citrusella

Google's AI overview regurgitates and/or staples together information it has determined seems related to your query (but might not be) from multiple internet sources, ostensibly the ones it links after each passage.

All of which here appear to be Reddit posts.

Google is a search engine. Its AI overview might not have stapled together even an answer that seems correct (regardless of whether it's on the money or hallucinating) if people hadn't run to Reddit first.

FirefighterIcy9879

You have to parry it off a weapon being struck. Not the bolt hitting link himself. Doesn’t work that way.
