I haven't watched SU in a years but what's stopping Steven from using his magic gem powers to make his Pink Gem Form thingy as a stand lol

Imagine you're going mid diff against Steven and now suddenly it's a 2v1

RandomRedditorEX

me too :3

And even then people will defend everything BUT The Gacha, at best people say The Gacha is more fine or f2p, but I'd say in almost every good gacha game people will rank the gacha aspect dead last.

RandomRedditorEX

...yeah like isn't that like the whole gimmick of YOMI Hustle?

It basically boils down fighting games to its pure mindgame aspect, there's no room to react blindly because you AND the opponent know everything you can do.

That's why when you get hit you don't go "dang I was too slow" like most fighters, you realize that you simply got outsmarted.

RandomRedditorEX

This is actually foreshadowing from Canto IX that Canto X was going be RPG Maker inspired all along.

RandomRedditorEX

oh nah that's a pretty fair complaint, as good as RE2R is being one of the few reasons why Resident Evil has its amazing comeback they kinda dropped the ball on the 2nd run mechanic. Even in the first run they're not that different compared to each other than Claire and Leon having different weapons. Still the base gameplay loop is fun enough you can kinda excuse em.

I recommend playing the OG RE2 if you want to see how they differ since Claire and Leon's second run do have more noticeable differences.

RandomRedditorEX

I have certain thoughts on this, devious thoughts but I'm on the actual Mewgenics subreddit sooo they'll lay dormant for now

RandomRedditorEX

everytime this shit pops up again and it's just so tiring lmao.

Look man we all have our own fucked up shit, but my take away if it's Fictional AND not harming anyone then pop off.

If you try to apply the common gotcha about "ohh you like fictional children so you must like literal children" then what about video games!? murder happens in like so many video games but no one bats an eye, how about fucked up fetishes? I have a vore fetish but I don't go around trying to swallow people whole.

At the end of the day, we all have some skeletons in the closet, know your place and where to share them in appropriate places man.

RandomRedditorEX

To be fair a fixed point in time is a pretty common trope.

It's part of the meesage sometimes things in life are just meant to happen, no matter what you do you will never prevent it

RandomRedditorEX

holy shit wtf

damn you mobile reddit app

RandomRedditorEX

honestly I wonder if there's a nsfw sub already.

SexualitiesUnknown or something lol, nsfw is kinda inevitable in most fandoms, better to channel them in more productive ways than trying to fight the unfightable

lmao I appreciate you sharing but didn't like the mod dev explicitly said do NOT share this stuff around the more official spaces

RandomRedditorEX

Yeah, difficulty is an incredibly subjective topic because they can never one person might they it's unfair and the other completely fair.

One of my favourite example is the Underworks section from Silksong, that's basically a super hard area because you're broke, all the enemies drop barely any money and the worst part even the checkpoints need money. However I think it's an incredibly implementation of gameplay and story integration because it really makes you feel how dire Pharloom is.

RandomRedditorEX

Dude might not even be in the Undertale fandom lmao.

Back then kids would see Determination and go HOLY SHIT!!!

source: I was one of those kids lmao, feels surreal UT has been out for a decade now

RandomRedditorEX

lowkey maybe I should rewatch Jojo with the English dub

RandomRedditorEX

my best bet is that you didn't use the correct orientation?

It's hard to explain but basically when a game to says lock and move the joystick forwards, it means relative to Dante, NOT the camera (or it could the other way around I really don't remember since it differs from the games). There's somewhat depth to the lock on system actually, like Reversals in DMC4, though I haven't played DMC4 yet, waiting it to go on sale lol so not much I can say.

You're really alone on this one, most people dislike DMC1's lock on since it's automatic, as in the game always assume you're locked on with no way to disable it which sucks since some of Dante's attack better without lock on (mostly his AoE anti swarm attacks) and some better (like Stinger EEEEYAAAAAHHH). So DMC1 Dante always having the lock on on makes him feel limiting to an extent, plus not to mention where the system sneezes and suddenly Dante decides to swing his sword to some other marionette at the other side of the room.

RandomRedditorEX

WHERE IS THAT

ONE relatable COMMENT.

SOMETHING IS MISSING

RandomRedditorEX

obviously it's Zack Fair smh.

RandomRedditorEX

imo it's just one of the cooler aspects of how some fights JJK can go.

Fuck honor and bullshit I can't beat you fair go go gadget surprise attack.

Honestly the Curses realizing that literally no one can fight Gojo, and resorting to emotional manipulation was genuinely such a good way to write Gojo out of the story. Like it's such a satisfying way to "defeat" him too.

RandomRedditorEX

Toby Fox awakening Radiation from his eternal banishment just so he can to write Dess' part to the story specifically.

RandomRedditorEX

shit happens y'know.

Especially with how divisive Chapter 5 was, you either get people claiming it's peak or it's ass, and interestingly enough both sides have good points.

Still, it's just pointless fandom shenanigans, I've lived through the Undertale fandom, I'd argue it was worse but eh the memories of that time have long faded from my mind leaving me vague feelings of long ago.

I guess the only time it'll truly be messed up is if someone actually gets hurt or something but in the meantime fuck it lmao.

RandomRedditorEX

They should fuse to find the true answer, maybe they'll get a fusion named Vegeta or Go gito??? ku...

RandomRedditorEX

Dark Souls 2 I love you but for every amazing idea that really innovated the series like Powerstancing/Dual Wielding, you get equally horseshit ideas like Soul Memory and ADP (and Attunement) being tied to i-frames (which on paper is a good idea, tying your i frames to stats is amazing and it can influence your build but the way the game handles it is so vague and terrible plus the implementation isn't that deep since most people will get it to 96 AGI and call it a day)

Still, it's kinda neat to see how each of the trilogy gams have vastly different identities, DS1 was the foundation mostly built of Demon Souls. DS2 was where the series started getting recognized and it turned it allowed them to be extremely experimental for better or for worse. Then DS3 decided to reel back the experimentation of DS2 and went to a more DS1 and Bloodborne-ish safe approach.
