LLLLIKE A GLOVE
LAHOO-SAHUUR
This is like pouring a little bit of salt onto a meal with the salt shaker, a sprinkle or 2 through the small holes then the lid comes off.
I don't know if I'm the only person who does this, but when I use a salt shaker, I always press my index finger down on the lid, just in case. It comes from bartender training teaching me to do that with bottle pourers.
I just use a salt grinder because it gets more backdoor play than salt craigslist
We just witnessed someone’s boiling point in life..
Or they let Jesus take the wheel and found out they’re atheist.
Nah, this happened in Tbilisi (Eastern Europe) he was scared after accident and mixed up gas and brake pedals. Here is better version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yh7PyeVmWLY
He was in reverse. Mixing up the pedals would have caused him to go backwards again
He fucked it up in reverse, gave way too much gass, we see that, then threw it in drive and slammed the pedal while panicking.
How people like this function in every day life, I have no idea. Panic would never get me to just mash the gas, panic makes me slam the brake (bad on its own in other situations).
I just cant wrap my head around day to day life for people like this.
the fuck.. the panic at the end lol
You, on the other side of the road! Are you laughing at my parking? We’ll see about that!
Why is there parallel parking on an exit ramp on the freeway!?
His insurance company will try to use that as a reason not to pay...
if insurance companies could getaway with not paying for stupid then they'd never have to pay for anything.
Rage quit
They threw the controller down and one of the triggers got stuck
Panic much?
I am learning to drive, I cannot parallel park, this makes me fear I'd end up doing something like this.
Don't floor the gas pedal while parking and you'll be fine.
I was going to say, this guy might’ve been going for the brakes but hit the gas instead
I haven't driven many car models, but mine moves slowly when in gear without pushing the accelerator, so when moving into a tight space I just regulate the speed by varying pressure on the brake pedal. So no moving between pedals at all.
Pretty sure all automatics work this way and that’s the smart way to park
You can even do this in a manual by modulating the clutch instead of the brake!
“Fuck! Quick, get in an accident on the other side of the road so the person I just backed into doesn’t think it was me!”
They were dishonored because of the crash so the car commited soduko
Parallel parking with your eyes closed while someone instructs you over the phone
While we’re at it, a Cadillac CTS parked in front of a Dodge Charger probably isn’t too common an occurrence in Europe.
Holy crap! Does this guy inhale nitrogen when he parallel parks?
“Oops sorry I’m an asparagus”
The white van has the ultra instinct
Contrary to the popular saying : Tragedy is sometimes comedy plus time.
I never seen someone botch a parallel park so bad that they cause an accident on the other side of a four lane road before.

They just gave up completely, “shit might as well make this worth the deductible.”

"Maybe if I slam on the accelerator I can pass this off as a medical emergency."

I mean, lacking a brain is a medical emergency... Right?

This looks like a typical mixup of the brake and gas pedals. Panic sets in and they mash the pedal even harder. This causes a reaction where they continue to press even harder on the pedal.

My dad had to write off an good car one time because he loaned it to a friend. She apparently mixed up like this and crashed it into a concrete barrier in a parking lot.

But they were in reverse. If the mashed the pedal harder they would have gone further in reverse. They clearly stopped and shifted into drive then floored it. This was a purposeful decision on their part.

They must have been taught that when parallel parking you hold both the accelerator and the brake pedals down as far as you can and then modulate the movement by carefully lifting off a little on the brake. Not always foolproof...

I, too, enjoy doing burnouts while parallel parking.

I've learned through the years that nothing's really foolproof. Fools can be quite ingenious in coming up with new ways to fuck something up.

Gesus, that is the worst idea I have heard in years. Do people really teach this method? It is entirely idiotic.

They stopped requiring them on road tests for getting your license (in my state) so honestly I’m not even surprised.
[deleted] 33 points · Sep 2020
It's honestly stupid to get rid of them. It wasn't about whether you'll parallel park all the time. It's the same as why they teach you Algebra in school even if you won't use it ever. It's to test your proficiency of problem solving, and for the car what level of control you actually have over the vehicle.
