Sign says "Physics and Chemistry". Guess those guys are passing Chemistry
it says
congratulations on our campus receiving grant to construct "photonic physics, and chemistry" national prestigious laboratory.
actually.
so it might still be a engineering school, or some sort of technical school
edit: the smaller plaque to the right says.
hua nan institute of technology, light engineering and gastronomy school
i srsly dont know what made them come up with that combination though.
You can spot the only gay dude in the lower left corner..
Third guy from the left, Top row. The girl to the right of him is the hottest
Front row, third guy from the left, girl on his left. Her face screams "fuck me."
Psych dept.: In both cases where women are pointed out, the main descriptor of their location was the man she was nearest. Why not say 4th woman from right?

I hate when people over-analyse these things. For instance:
Group of five black men and one white man that you want to point out to somebody.
You: The white guy.
Them: Oh.
Group of five white men and one black man that you want to point out to somebody:
You: The black guy.
Them: Dirty look.
So, they're all fembots?
Mild hover hand action, but I'll allow it.
This is not an engineering school, probably a humanities department.
I wrote that bitch a chain matrix. Bitches love chain matrices.
LIES!
Bull shit! this is no way an engineering school!
I'm in chemical engineering. We have the most girls out of all the engineering departments. It's about 1 girl:4 guys. However, maybe one in five is tappable.
I'm an engineer; that means I solve problems. Not problems like 'What is beauty?', because that would fall within the purview of your conundrums of philosophy. I solve practical problems.
I spent way too much time trying to figure out if it was the same 2 girls shopped into the arms of each guy.
Where is this from? Nothing on TinyEye
I took it from a Chinese microblogging site. But after reading your comment I tried to search with Google's own reverse search, and holy shit is it already better than TinEye's.
2 girls for every guy.
HOVERHANDS FOR EVERYBODY!!!
Yes, nothing like a bunch of female graduates to send over to the United States to go to engineering school here..they won't suspect females because they'll be too overjoyed to have twenty new females in their engineering department. Even if they find out that they're all spies, they won't dare kick them out lest the other engineering students revolt!
Front-left guy: gay
Mutha Fuckas.....thats not what Pitt was like.
Damn you cheerleader effect/sorority syndrome.
no no no no no, this is not engineering school.
Most engineering schools have a 25men to 1 woman ratio.
Fun game: Count all the hover hands.
I see guy 3 and guy 6
Bottom left is hiding his erection. The girls sitting next to him are uncomfortable.
Lack of Decibels warning.
Graduated from Electrical Power Engineering Technician. 4 girls, 106 guys.
I shit bricks! I saw it... The guy in the upper right... He's the only male without crossed legs. OMG!!!! Is that a boner I see?
That's not representative of China...
looks like i went to the wrong engineering school

My engineering department has maybe 10-12 ladies and 2000 guys. of the 10-12, one or two are decent looking. One has a bf, and the other has the herp.

I remember my first undergrad computer science class. I think there were 2 women there in a class of greater than one hundred.
I remember thinking to myself: "Man, and I thought this kind of thing was a joke..."
Nope it's not.

Mine too; then it dropped to 0 the next year.

Ha! Nearly all the women in my family have psych degrees... they are laughing with you. lol
[deleted] 4 points · Jul 2011
The last psyche class I took there were 14 women and 3 men.

It's actually quite common to have lots of girls in engineering in non-western countries!
bit2reddit 2 points · Jul 2011
In India, You can find lots of girl in IT,Computer engg. and Electronics, but Courses like Chemical engg., Electrical and Industrial Control engg. has very few girls because They are considered as Field Jobs..

Hi there. I was a dev for 10+ years, and now manage a team of devs. There are a lot more women in software since I started, but it's still dominated by men.
I would offer a few bits of advice to anyone getting into the business, but for women especially:
1) Just be yourself and enjoy the coding. Don't get hung up on other people's hang-ups.
2) You will almost certainly earn less than your male counterparts in the early years. When you have experience, find an employer who grades you on skill, and can back that up with data.
3) Ignore the whiny shits like u_fail, who seem to blame women in general for their inability to get a date.
4) If you meet u_fail in the workplace, treat him professionally. If he hassles you, though, let your boss know, and go to HR if it's still a thing after that.
u_fail 82 points · Jul 2011
CS guy here, you have to see out side. The little interaction we get with girls, makes it hard for us to meet girls. Where as girls have to make no effort to meet guys, because guys are the ones that have to put themselves out there and face rejection. So you'll have no problems meeting guys. So basically Fuck you.
[deleted] 13 points · Jul 2011
Girl here. You might notice that being in engineering I have a myriad of male aquaintences. Please note that I am not fucking any of them either.
Yea, I come off real nice and smart but it was not destiny that we met, there is less than 1% chance that I will desire a relationship with you (just the same with allll the other guys) but because you have a white belt in social skills you won't realize I'm gently trying to let you down and you'll continue to hit on me. When I break it down for you, you'll get bitter and angry and say unnecessarily petty and hurtful things. I could just find excuses to hang out less but that would be passive aggressive which you'll gladly point out to your friends while calling me a frigid bitch ice queen and planning my demise. It would leave a bad taste in my mouth.
We appear to have opposite problems which will probably only be solved by a whacky freaky friday adventure. Oh but that won't work because you'll stay inside all day playing with your boobs and I'll stay inside all day whacking off.
ex_ample 11 points · Jul 2011
Oh, here's your opportunity!
...and ...forever alone. This kind of attitude is what keeps women out of these fields, and makes it harder for nerd dudes to get laid. (no to mention meeting girls with the same interests)

erm... maybe there's a reason you can't get a date?
That line doesn't work too well on chicks in my experience.

Yes.

Plus relationships are so full of double-standards these days with women it's a whole lot of fuck for guys.

So, recap for nerdy (unattractive) guys:
Good looking women do not like you. (not even the smart/quirky/nerdy ones)

Hey I want to commend you for going into CS. I just graduated with a Bachelor's in CS, my school consisted of 300 students, and only 15 girls. Its a boy's club, but its definitely worth it.
