10/10 episode
Alice has officially become Godtier waifu for me, I don't think anyone comes close for me. Seeing my favourite part of vol 16 animated has been great and A-1 have done an amazing job with the OST, art, animation, everything is just so bright and gorgeous. One thing I do have as a bit of criticism is the scene with ronye and tiese made me more emotional reading than watching honestly. I think the inner thoughts added a lot to that scene, but it was still beautiful.
Fanatio and Alice's scene was also great.
I'm really excited. I don't get how the MAL ranking has dropped from 8.2 to 7.88, people rating 1's and 2's and doing reviews. If you hate SAO that much just don't watch it, man. We're 4 seasons in at this point, why bother yourself and hurt the score like that?

I'm pretty sure they're disliking it just to dislike it.

it's trendy to hate on SAO.

Gotta love when people go out of their way to find a reason to hate it lmao

it;s genuinely weird, they're more obsessed than fans

Lmao the rating for Alicization part 1 went from 7.9 to 7.67 in like 2 months, god I hate MAL and people with SAO hate boners

War of Underworld was at 8.4 as of two weeks ago lol

I just don’t understand people like that. Not even just for SAO, they do it for other shows that are trendy to hate like AoT, or even relatively newer classics like Code Geass or Death Note. Like, if you really hate something THAT much, just ignore it. Why give it so much time and effort that you would go to the extent of adding shows just to ratings bomb them and even writing reviews? If you really hate something, you don’t invest that much energy into it. And if you are doing it just to seem trendy or “woke,” my god, there are way better things you can be doing with your life than trying to impress people on fucking MAL.

don't forget the FMAB vote bombing when SNK dropped

These are the people who only care about the fights. Any scene who build character development they rant about. Otherwise, all they want to see in a anime is fights.

This is what I don't get about anime fans sometime. This people expect action scene 24/7 in their screen.
kpiaum 1 points · Nov 2019
Yeah. "Too much talk. Need more fight".
nonsenceslayer 3 points · Nov 2019 · Yumiko
One of the review on MAL mention about too much exposition dump. If I remember correctly, the first episode of Fate/Zero was a hour long exposition dump. Today anime fans have been conditioned to bash exposition dump over too much action.

It's the same guys who are now "Where's Asuna. Why Asuna is not there." Geez. Sometimes I think they just want to watch UFC anime version.

Oh yeah, that get annoying sometime. I love Asuna, but, chill the f*ck out people.

More like WWE lol

agreed 100 percent. "the writing is awful, not enough fights"
Killbethy 1 points · Nov 2019
I actually disagree. I think the bulk of them aren’t rating it low because they want constant fights, it’s because they want to seem cool by disliking shows that are popular with the masses. So instead they’ll go off and favorite things that are either totally niche or something that most people actually don’t rate highly.

Some/most probably aren’t even watching, or if they are, it’s just hate watching. SAO definitely let viewers down with the Fairy Dance and Phantom Bullet arcs, mostly Fairy Dance, just because the tone and feel was so different and wasn’t what the audience was expecting after watching Aincrad, but if people can’t see that Alicization is the best SAO has been since Aincrad, and arguably better, then they are the ones missing out.
Funny thing, I think if SAO actually didn’t adapt Fairy Dance into the anime, or, at the very least, didn’t have it run directly following Aincrad in the same season, making the juxtaposition between the stakes and settings of the two arcs less in glaringly obvious, I actually think the “blindly hate SAO” trend never would have taken off.

I really enjoyed fairy dance cause incest tbh
